Story
This December, Parker and I are taking on a challenge that is definitely going to test us…we’re running a marathon!! We're going to complete 2km every single day for 21 days - yes, even in the cold, even in the rain, even when our legs beg us not to and even throughout the Christmas festivities 😅 we will definitely have earned extra chocolates!
We’re doing it because Pelican Parcels is, as most of you will probably already know, close to my heart (and Parker's) and I'm proud that we change children’s lives every day for the better, but there is still so much more help needed.
Pelican Parcels is Brighton & Hove’s only baby bank. We take high-quality, pre-loved essentials from families who no longer need them and gift them to families who really do. Our volunteers sort clothing, shoes, school uniform, toys, books, buggies, toiletries, nappies, beds, bedding and so much more — making sure every parcel is safe, clean, beautiful and filled with dignity and love.
Last year alone, Pelican Parcels helped and impacted over 7,300 babies, children and families across our city - those facing poverty, crisis, homelessness, domestic abuse, unexpected hardship or simply impossible choices between heating, eating and keeping their children warm.
Pelican Parcels’ vision is simple and powerful: a community where every child has the essentials they need to be safe, to thrive, to grow, deveop and be happy.
If you can, please give generously. Every penny genuinely makes a difference. Every 3p puts another dry nappy on a baby's bottom.
Thank you so much for supporting us and supporting Pelican Parcels. 💛
