Chester and District Branch fundraising for Parkinson’s

Parkinson's Chester District is raising money for Parkinson’s UK
Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Parkinson's Chester and District Branch help raise vital funds and awareness for Parkinson's. We aim to maintain support for our members throughout their whole journey, as no-one should face Parkinson's alone:

We're a local support group helping those affected by Parkinsons in West Cheshire and the surrounding area. Our newsletter, the Parkinson's Post contains all of our branch activities and helps all of our members find out more about what's been going on recently and what we've got in store for the rest of the year. It also has lots of useful information about services, research and much more. The cost of producing and distributing the newsletter is a hugh financial commitment but one we feel is very necessary. We also have monthly social events for members and weekly singing sessions and Zoom quiz. Though participants obviously contribute, our aim is that no-one is excluded for financial reasons.

Our primary aim is to support our local members. As a branch we continue to also support Parkinson's UK with funds for research.

Please help us to achieve this.
