Every summer, Beartown Rickshaw kindly visits our residential home to take our residents out for enjoyable trips around the town. All members of the Beartown Rickshaw team are volunteers who generously give their time to support members of the community whenever they are needed.

Over the past two years, they have regularly visited Park Lane, creating wonderful experiences and lasting memories for our residents. We are therefore delighted to be raising funds for Beartown Rickshaw as part of the Congleton Rotary Club Swimathon.

A group of our staff, led by activity coordinators Dawn and Jackie, will be taking part in the Swimathon, alongside other fundraising events planned throughout the year, all in support of this fantastic charity.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the members of the Beartown Rickshaw team for their kindness, dedication, and continued support. Your generosity truly makes a difference.

This is a popular annual event organised and run by the Rotary Club of Congleton when individuals of a team swim lengths of an indoor pool in relay over a 55 minute period. All the funds raised by sponsorship is then split evenly between the selected Rotary charities for the event and the charity/organisation of the team's choice.
