The Park Ridge Newcomers Club is proud to champion WINGS, a nonprofit organization that provides safe housing, counseling, and life-changing resources to individuals and families affected by domestic violence. As a community of women, mothers, daughters, friends, and neighbors, we believe deeply in lifting one another up — and ensuring that every woman has access to safety, dignity, and hope.

Through our Legacy of Love initiative, PRNC is committed to raising meaningful funds throughout the year to support WINGS’ mission. Our Philanthropy Committee is working diligently to create a momentous Derby Day fundraising event in May 2026, dedicated entirely to WINGS. WINGS is the largest domestic violence agency in Illinois, offering a continuum of services including housing, counseling, financial guidance, legal advocacy, career development, life skills, mentoring, Community Based Services, and a comprehensive Children and Family Services.

Since 1985, WINGS has continually produced successful outcomes, working toward the vision of creating a society where every survivor has a voice and the resources to break the cycle of domestic violence.
