🕺 Champion returns. Ego intact. Hips unprepared.

Back in May I won Dance Floor Heroes. Any sensible man would've retired on top, put the trophy on the mantelpiece and told the story at every family do for the next 40 years.

Instead I've signed up for the ALL STARS edition at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool on 27th November. 🏆

The dance? Argentine Tango. The most intense, smouldering, serious dance there is. I'm a bloke who currently has the elegance of a shopping trolley with a dodgy wheel. 🛒

Luckily I've got my pro partner Lydia, who is showing saint-like patience while I learn that "stop walking like you're late for a bus" is apparently not a dance technique. 😂

But here's the serious bit. We're raising money for Tia's Crown, a mental health charity doing brilliant work. As blokes, we're not always great at talking about how we're feeling, so if me making a fool of myself in a tight shirt gets people talking and donating, I'll take it. 💙

Every pound helps. Even the price of a pint makes a difference, and I promise to earn it with my dignity. 🍺
