Last year, my sister and brother in-law went through the unimaginable pain of losing their baby daughter, Eleanor.

They were so grateful for the care and compassion towards them by the Snowdrop team at the hospital.

“The team was set up in June 2023. They support families going through a pregnancy or baby loss at St. Michael's Hospital, Bristol. The team provides support throughout their care in the hospital and ongoing support at home for as long as needed for each family. They also support families who are pregnant again following a loss, knowing that this can be a very different pregnancy with added emotions. They work closely with local charities to ensure parents are supported through all aspects of bereavement and future pregnancies.”

So as a thank you for the Snowdrop Team’s support, four of Eleanor’s family (Mitchell - Dad, Pat - Uncle, Alex - Uncle & Neil - Grandad) are going to summit Snowdon at night to watch the sunrise in memory of her.
