Story

On Friday 06/06/25 after a very brave battle against a rare brain tumour for over a year, our beautiful Beau passed away at the age of just 13. We are all devastated at the gaping hole he has left in our lives.

We hold strength in thinking about his cheeky smile and non-stop energy. He brought a lot of fun to everyone around him and he rightly won a kindness award at school last year, because he was so caring to all. He made an impact on so many people whether through school, being part of the Balsall Hornets football club, cubs and scouts, gaming and more.

Beau will be deeply missed by all his family, friends, team mates, classmates, and everyone involved in his life and blessed enough to have met him, whether heartfelt or to make us laugh, we know he had a very unique personality!

This Childhood Cancer Awareness Month I'm fundraising by hosting a virtual collection for Young Lives vs Cancer.

This Childhood Cancer Awareness Month Young Lives vs Cancer are highlighting the tough conversations children and young people with cancer have every day, and how Young Lives vs Cancer social workers help. They listen to their worries, anxieties and fears. They help them understand whats being said about their cancer and whats planned. They support them to find the words to express how they feel. They make sure the people closest to them can be by their side and help them find the strength and resilience to face the trauma of cancer.
