Story
Over the next month I'm raising money for Severn Hospice, and I'd be grateful for anything you can give.
Severn Hospice cares for people across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales who are living with an incurable illness and, just as importantly, for the people around them. Not only the patient, but the whole family. All of that care is free to everyone who needs it, which is the part that always stops me: nobody in that situation is ever handed a bill.
Free doesn't mean it costs nothing, though. The hospice has to raise £2 of every £3 it spends, more than £10 million a year, and the vast majority of that comes from people in this part of the world quietly deciding to chip in.
So that's what I'm doing. A Prison Break next month at Shrewsbury Prison.
Every penny goes straight to Severn Hospice. Small donations matter far more than people assume, a run of £5s and £10s adds up quickly, and it's the steady support rather than the grand gestures that keeps the doors open. If giving isn't possible right now, sharing this page helps just as much.
Thank you. It means a lot.
