On the 20th November, 2023, at Beth’s 13 week scan we were given the devastating news that our little baby had serious medical issues and she was referred to the Fetal Medical Unit for further tests. Unfortunately the Doctor confirmed the heartbreaking news that baby had developed significant heart problems and had a less than 10% chance of surviving the pregnancy. We then had to make a decision that no parent wants to make.

Just 6 days later Beth had go through something I would not wish on anyone.. I couldn’t be prouder of how brave my wife was especially knowing there wasn’t going to be a happy ending.

After a 12 hour labour our precious little Skye was born.

Nobody can you prepare you for the grief that takes over especially for the Mum.
