Story
Six months ago, mum was diagnosed with leukemia, and our world turned upside down. She spent weeks in the ICU, and during her recovery, she had to relearn how to walk, talk, and eat. It’s been an incredibly tough journey, filled with moments of fear and uncertainty.
Through it all, the Royal Marsden staff were a constant source of support, showing my mum extraordinary care and compassion. Their dedication left a lasting impact on me, and I’m deeply grateful for everything they’ve done.
Thankfully, my mum is now home and in much better health, but there’s still a long road of treatment ahead. As a way to give back, I’m dedicating the next nine months to raising funds for the Royal Marsden by running a race each month for every month my mum was in the hospital—starting with the Royal Parks Half and ending with the Venice Marathon.
Please consider donating. Your support will help the Royal Marsden continue to provide life-saving care for families like mine. Also my employer will match whatever I donate, so your donation goes further.
