Story
I’m hiking 42km through the night for humanity — and in memory of my amazing mum.
On the night of 5 July 2025, I’ll be taking on the Red Cross Night Hike for Humanity — an unforgettable 42km charity hike through the South Downs, starting in Brighton and finishing at sunrise on the Eastbourne seafront.
It’s a tough overnight journey, but one I’m proud to take on — not just to raise vital funds for the British Red Cross, but also in loving memory of my mum, who passed away from brain cancer in 2013.
She was the strongest, kindest person I’ve ever known. This hike is my tribute to her — and a way to carry forward her compassion by supporting people facing crisis, conflict, and disaster around the world.
The British Red Cross is there day and night for people who need help the most. From emergency response and refugee support to tackling loneliness and rebuilding communities after disaster, every step I take will help support that life-saving work.
Whether you can give a little or a lot, I’d be so grateful for your support. Every donation truly makes a difference.
Thank you for standing with me — and with humanity.
