Story
My personal message: thank you for your support. Mom died of heart failure in August 2025. She was an amazing person and it is in her memory that I am challenging myself to run the London Marathon in April. Although I have run most of my life, running 26.2 miles at the age of 61 is a big challenge! I am also running in memory of Dad, who gifted me the love of running.
I am so grateful to be able to be a participant in one of the world's major marathons. London marathon is also a huge charity event, with the goodwill of humanity seen everywhere - one of the greatest events to be a part of.
For all who are affected by heart disease, I am there for you! I am grateful to be able to take on this challenge and to support the BHF in their vital work.
Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation and I'd be so grateful for your support. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures.
Thank you so much for your support!
