Charity Walk & Cake Sale · 28 May 2023

Founded in 2014, Dementia Support is a young, unique charity that provides complete dementia services in one community-based hub, known as Sage House. We provide support and information to anyone wanting to know more about how to live well with dementia, both pre and post diagnosis.

Story

Dementia is now the leading cause of death in the UK. It’s a devastating and complex condition. Every 3 minutes somebody will develop dementia. There is no cure. There are 900,000 people with dementia in the UK. We at Dementia Support are there for all those who need our help. We reduce loneliness, give the best quality care and provide hope, supporting the whole family.

Staff at NatWest Chichester are looking to support our friends at Dementia Support by way of two fundraising events.

On Wednesday 26th April we will be holding a cake sale at our local branch at 5 East Street, Chichester. If you're nearby please pop in to try a piece of cake freshly baked by our staff.

On Sunday 28th May - Paul Allen, Kristy Rouse, Paula Smith, Lisa Bowden, Rachel Moore, Tina Mitchell and Allesa Butterworth will be walking from Chichester to Itchenor and back, approximately 20k.

We would welcome all donations and would be grateful if you could spare a few pounds to support a very worthwhile cause.

Many thanks in advance.
