I have lost 2 grandparents to Dementia and my wife lost her gran after a long fight against Alzheimer's and Dementia.

It is a terrible condition, the worst in many ways, in which you lose your loved one several times over and I have witnessed first hand the impact this has on both the person suffering with the disease and their family.

Ever since I started ruining I have said if ever I do a marathon, I would raise money for the fight against Alzheimer's.
