On Sunday, April 27th, 2025, I will be taking part in the Adidas Manchester Marathon, a challenge that marks my first ever marathon experience. I am raising funds for the Sheppey Sea Cadets, an organisation that does incredible work in providing opportunities for children aged 10 to 18. My daughter has been a part of this community for the last three years and her transformation has been nothing short of remarkable. The confidence and self-belief she has gained through her involvement is truly inspiring.

As a volunteer P-Sergeant in the new Royal Marine’s detachment, I have witnessed firsthand the positive impact that such programs can have on young lives. By participating in this marathon, I hope to give back even more to the unit and help them continue their vital work on the Isle of Sheppey.
