Story
Paul is taking on a huge indoor triathlon challenge to raise money for Gym Possible and Dementia UK.
The challenge will see him complete:
• 1.5km Row
• 10km SkiErg
• 40km Cycling - (20km Hand Bike, 20km Exercise Bike)
This challenge is especially meaningful to Paul because he is fundraising for Dementia UK in memory of his mam. Through taking on this challenge, he hopes to honour her memory while raising money for two causes that mean a great deal to him personally.
Gym Possible has also become a hugely important part of Paul’s life. The support, community, friendships, and positive environment at the gym have helped him massively, and this challenge is his way of giving something back while supporting other disabled people to access exercise and feel part of a welcoming community.
Over the coming weeks and months, Paul will be training hard, pushing himself physically and mentally, and documenting the journey along the way. Although he may joke about how difficult the training is, this is a challenge he has chosen to take on with real determination.
Gym Possible is a charity dedicated to making exercise accessible for people with physical disabilities, helping people improve their health, confidence, independence, and wellbeing through inclusive exercise and specialist support.
Every donation, no matter the size, will help support these two fantastic causes and support Paul throughout this challenge.
Thank you so much for your support.
