In memory of Paul Boustead

Tracy Boustead is raising money for Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team
In memory of Paul Boustead
One of the busiest search and rescue teams in England, resourced entirely of volunteers, who are available and on call for 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

Story

Paul tragically lost his life on December 29th in an accident on Helvellyn.

The search, rescue and recovery was lead by Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team over two days. It was a multi team effort involving Patterdale, Keswick, Langdale Ambleside, Cockermouth, Penrith & Kirkby Stephen Mountain Rescue teams, Lake District Mountain Rescue Searchdogs and two Coastguard SAR helicopters. In total 68 MRT rescue personnel were involved over the two days.

We cannot ever thank everyone involved enough for all their efforts, putting their own lives at risk in horrendous weather conditions to search for, rescue and recover Paul and Shelby. We will be eternally grateful for everything they did for our family.
