Paul's Marathon challenge for My Name'5 Doddie Foundation

Paul Brown is raising money for My Name'5 Doddie Foundation

London Marathon 2026 · 26 April 2026 ·

We are My Name'5 Doddie Foundation and we're absolutely committed to our goal: A World Free of MND. We will leave no stone unturned in the relentless pursuit of this goal as we fund, guide and enable the smartest, most efficient MND research to catalyse a cure for motor neuron disease.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and to all of those who have already donated and helped me reach my fundraising target. Less than a week to go but I am still raising funds. Every penny will help the charity and its amazing work.

I will be running the London Marathon in April to support the work of My Names Doddie in supporting people with MND and in seeking a cure. When I started this adventure, I disclosed that a close friend of mine was suffering from this cruel and indiscriminate disease and the sooner that we can find a cure, the better. Sadly, my friend lost his fight with the disease and died last week. This has given me renewed strength to do all that I can to raise as much money as possible. Every step will be taken in his memory and for all of those people still suffering from this terrible disease. I’m aiming for £100 per mile and your support and good wishes will be really appreciated.
