I'm running the Edinburgh Marathon along with my neighbours; Paul J, Paul C & Paul G (the 4 Pauls 😂) to raise funds for Cumbernauld and Carbrain Community Hub, a brilliant charity supporting anyone in need locally in our Town. The hub offers an emergency food bank, a £3 community pantry from 'The Wee Community Shop'; clothing, household items, furniture, electrical goods all free as part of their emergency referrals. The hub has a cosey living room to have a free hot cuppa and to socialise which helps with isolation. They also have pop-up shops, provide free period products, a free community fridge, and free social groups and cinema days from different organisations. CCCH is aimed at alleviating food poverty, reducing waste, and supporting the local community to empower local residents and provide support.
