Story

I am pledging to run my sedentary dadbod 100 miles, in 100 days for dementia.

For me this will be couch to a marathon, then possibly crutches as to complete this challenge I plan to run 2 miles then 3, 6, 9, 12, 12, 15, 15 and then a 26 mile marathon.

My total running distance in 2025 has been 2 park runs 3.3mile each, making this a great challenge or foolish idea!

My pledge forms only 1 of 100 wonderful people raising funds under the ‘Walk for Dementia Challenge’: We are looking for at least 100 people to sign up to commit to a personal challenge from walking 100 miles in 100 days.

There are just under 10,000 people estimated to be living with dementia in Cornwall, this challenge is as a group, we walk a mile for each person.
