Ned, Will and I are running the Great North Run on Sept 13th for Tom’s Trust - a fantastic charity that supports children with brain tumours and their families.

Tom's Trust provides in-hospital clinical psychologists to help navigate diagnosis, support during brutal treatment and work with children and families as they reintegrate back home. They also walk alongside those families who sadly lose a child to this devastating disease.

Please support me so we can do more for the 10 children diagnosed each week. 6 of those children will be left with life-long disabilities and we want to change the outcomes for this unique group of children.

As some of you may know, my brother Joe very sadly died from brain cancer when a teenager in 1983. This charity was begun in 2011 and I have seen how they provide amazing psychological support to children. They are already active in the North East, North West, East of England and Thames Valley and have an impressive strategy to extend this same support nationally by 2031.

It will also help spur us on to finish this half-marathon in a competitive time…. Some training has now begun - Question is who will achieve the quickest time between the three of us??!!
