Story
After losing my left leg in 2016 I decided to pursue an application to learn to fly in 2018 which had always been a dream of mine. I was successful and got through hundreds of applicants and was awarded a scholarship to learn to fly.
This was an opportunity of a lifetime which helped me after my amputation by showing I could still achieve many things.
Well now I'd like to give something back, and I have joined a fundraising initiative in order to give a little back. The target is only £100 officially however I would like to do a little better than that. A full scholarship is around £17,000 pounds and the FSDP currently trains around 12 disabled pilots each year.
I have set a target of £100 but with your help can raise so much more.
Any donation big or small is appreciated with all proceeds going directly to the FSDP charity via Just Giving.
Please do what you can, by either donating and most importantly sharing this post.
Our mission is to inspire disabled adults, building their confidence, self-esteem and future aspirations through the sharing of life changing aviation experiences. - www.fsdp.co.uk
This fundraiser will enable FSDP to continue to provide truly life changing experiences that help people to achieve their potential no matter what disadvantages they may face in their life.
