Just over a year ago my uncle sadly passed away in St Luke's Hospice. The care he and my cousins received during his time there was second to none. All members of staff that they came into contact with were respectful, caring and empathising in all that they did. Nothing was too much trouble, the staff all went above and beyond and for that we will always be truly grateful.

Each year, St Luke's touches the lives of around 6,000 people in and around Sheffield. With only 25% of their costs being funded by the government, they need to raise £10.5million this year to continue the work they do.

By taking part in the Sheffield Half Marathon, I hope to help them to continue providing their services across Sheffield.
