Hey all,

On my third attempt of signing up, I've finally committed to running a half marathon! I'll be tackling the Royal Parks Half, representing the ICR (Institute of Cancer Research) – one of the world's leading research centres dedicated to combating cancer.

Many of you are aware of how deeply cancer has affected my family this year. It certainly puts things like half-marathon distances into perspective. I'm hopeful that every donation, combined with some sweat and strides, can contribute to advancing the science against this disease.

After 21.5km, I'll be absolutely broken, but I guarantee there'll be a big smile on my face!
