Yorkshire 3 Peak Challenge · 16 August 2025

We help people diagnosed with a brain tumour. We aim to give everyone diagnosed access to the resources that will put them back in control. We enable brain tumour patients and carers to become resilient and to utilise brain tumour support resources from all providers to their full potential.

Story

One of my best pals has been in hospital for a number of months with this terrible disease. It’s been heartbreaking seeing him but not seeing him as I know him. He is still with us but my daughters best mate isn’t ..

This is her story.

In February 2025 our beautiful best friend and amazing colleague to many Kieran sadly lost his life due to having a Brain Tumour. Kieran stayed strong throughout with a positive outlook which really is to be admired and a true inspiration to us all.

We plan on completing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks on the 16th Aug in honour of Kieran and to try and raise lots of money for this amazing charity to support other's going through this awful time as Kieran was always thinking of others.

Your kind donations and fantastic fundraising efforts ensures that brainstrust can deliver vital services to support the brain tumour community. Thanks to you, we are able to operate our 24/7 helpline and personalised coaching services 365 days a year. To reach as many people as possible during this isolating period, we are regularly hosting a variety of essential and informative online workshops which can be accessed through our website: brainstrust.org.uk.
