Hi

As most of you already know in 2023 I was diagnosed with stage 2 cancer that started in my tonsils and spread into my lymph nodes in my neck. Following surgery, I started radio and chemo in late 2023 through 2024 at the Beatson Cancer Centre. After six weeks of treatment, a long inpatient stay and 4months of being fed through a tube with a huge amount of support from the hospital,family and friends I finally got the all clear at the end of last year. A full year on from finishing treatment, everything continues to look good.

Now that I am back to fitness, I wanted to do something to give back to say thanks and help others who face the same as I did. I wanted to challenge myself again so that’s why we decided to sign up to a 15k tough mudder to raise funds for this amazing place that helps so many people.

Amazingly 40odd of my friends and family have signed up to do this with me thanks to all below 💙
