Story

IT Vendor Management Team Organizes 10km Sponsored Walk in Support of Colleague Battling Cancer

The IT Vendor Management Team at NFU Mutual is organizing a 10km sponsored walk through the picturesque Cotswolds on September 25, 2024, to support their colleague, Paul Dumbleton, in his fight against Stage 4 Bowel and Liver Cancer. The initiative aims to raise vital funds for Bowel Cancer UK and Liver Cancer UK, charities dedicated to supporting individuals affected by these diseases and advancing critical research.

Paul was diagnosed with Stage 4 Bowel Cancer over a year ago that has spread to his liver and has been bravely undergoing chemotherapy treatments since. His strength and resilience have been an inspiration to the entire team and organization. Joining the walk alongside the team will be Paul himself and his wife, Janani, showcasing solidarity and collective support in his battle against cancer.

This walk is our way of standing beside Paul during this challenging time and contributing to causes that provide hope and support to countless others facing similar battles. We believe that together, we can make a meaningful difference in the fight against cancer.
