For my 50th year on this planet I've decided to challenge myself to complete 2 multi terrain ultra marathons, 1st up is the Norn Iron 100, its a 108 mile race from ballintoy to gortin. 2nd is the lakeland 100, again it's a 105 mile race around the lake district. I've already done several events this year, but these 2 are my toughest, as I challenge myself to improve my time on previous Norn Iron 100 times , this is my 3rd year doing it, and I want to complete it in 24hrs. I'm a novice entrant into the lakeland so no idea on times. But I've a total of 40 hrs to do so. I've.choosen Willie's orphan fund as my chosen charity this year, Willie has been a great friend and suporter over the years and has done amazing work with his charity, which I'd like to support.
