At Compton Care we believe life with a complex and incurable illness doesn't have to be limiting. We work with patients to inspire, support and encourage them to take charge of their lives - because being alive isn't the same as feeling alive.

Story

This year the challenge is 3 fold.

1) Race to the stones with a group of guys from Bridgnorth.

2) Complete the lord Bilston Challenge the details of which are below.

3) Cross the finish line of the hardest lord Bilston challenge to date with Archie my 18 year old son who shares this ‘Just Giving’ page.

This will be the Lord Bilston Team’s sixth event since 2014, the team has raised more than £150,000 to date and would like to raise a further £40000 in 2025 for Compton Care.

To achieve this end the team of 28 cyclists and 12 support team will be completing the National 3 peaks, cycling between each mountainIn which accumulates to 28 miles of hiking, 620 miles of cycling over 3 days.

The Lord Bilston team are a group of everyday people who dust their bikes off every 2 years to raise money for Compton Care. This years team of committed, determined, driven, resilient and hardworking individuals.

The challenge will be the biggest ever undertaken by the team and will require everyone to begin preparation in March to reach the levels required to complete this mammoth task.
