This has been a long time coming! I’d hoped to do a marathon to prove to myself I’ve still got it in me after the crash - albeit a bit slower. I wanted to do it last year but ironically got injured again, so here we are hoping for 2026! I also wanted to help raise money for something important that I’d not done before.

Family Action are an amazing charity that protect children, support young people and adults and offer direct, practical help to families and communities across the UK. They represent the changing needs of all families, and work to ensure society understands the importance and power of family as the foundation for individual futures and resilient communities.

As someone who works closely with many families in the community, I know the many challenges that families can face on a daily basis. If you can give something to support this brilliant organisation that improves the lives of hundreds of people I’d be really grateful.
