Story

Throughout 2025, my goal is to participate in a fundraising event or monthly challenge to support some amazing charities.

In April, I'll be taking on the challenge of completing 100,000 punches to raise awareness for Take Heart, a charity that funds vital support for the Yorkshire Heart Centre at Leeds General Infirmary, St James's Hospital, and its associated units within The Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust.

This challenge was set by David, the lead instructor at Elemental Kickboxing Academy, whose wife, Leanne, received exceptional care on the cardiology ward. Take Heart is a small, volunteer-run charity founded by heart patients who wanted to give back for the outstanding care they received. Their support is especially vital for patients spending weeks in hospital undergoing multiple operations.

I'm not actively asking for donations, but I will be donating personally. My main focus is to raise awareness and inspire others to get involved. However, any contribution, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated and will help Take Heart continue their incredible work.

Thank you for your support!
