On Sunday 10th May 2026, I'll be taking part in the Fred Whitton Cycling Challenge to raise money for NF2 BioSolutions UK & Europe.

Considered the hardest one day cycling event in the UK the ride includes 13,000 feet of climbing over 112 miles and the average completion times are 8 - 10 hours !.

NF2 is a rare genetic disorder affecting approximately 1/35,000 people. People with NF2 are affected by Brain Tumours, Spinal Tumours, Optical Tumours.

NF2 has had a real impact on my family, so this cause means a lot to me personally. There is lots of potential to find effective treatments for NF2 with continued support for research.

Any support would be greatly appreciated and help keep the motivation up for the training !
