Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page!

I am thrilled to share that I will be participating in the Hyrox World Championships in Stockholm on June 21, 2026 in the Mixed Doubles race with Jo Barber after we qualified by winning our age group (55-59) race at Hyrox Katowice in February.

In the meantime, I am also attempting to qualify as a solo athlete - by winning an age group race at either Hyrox Glasgow, London or Barcelona in the coming weeks, as a personal challenge to support Havens Hospices including Little Havens.

This incredible charity provides vital care and support to individuals, families and children facing life-limiting illnesses, ensuring they receive the compassion and dignity they deserve.

What is more, they are fantastically well managed under the stewardship of CEO Louise Bryan - in stark contrast to many larger Charities in my experience as a cost optimisation consultant - making full use of every penny raised.

Your generous donations will directly impact the lives of those in need, helping to fund essential services that bring comfort during difficult times. By donating through JustGiving, you can rest assured that your contribution is secure and will reach the charity without delay.

I have set a target of £5,000 to help Havens Hospices continue their amazing work. Every pound counts, and together we can make a significant difference! Please consider supporting this cause by donating today. Your kindness can light up someone's darkest days - and give me a little extra motivation to train and compete extra hard in build up to Stockholm
