Paul's fundraiser for Brain Tumour Research

Cyprus Triathlon, JOGLE, 5km swim, marathon, Ironman Wales. · 31 March 2025
Just before Christmas my sister Sam had a seizure at home. This is when she found out she had two brain tumours. After Christmas she went into surgery to have them both removed but unfortunately they couldn't remove the smaller tumour. Sam has begun radiotherapy and will carry it on for 6 weeks and then chemotherapy for 6 months to try and get rid of the tumour.
This year I will be competing in a half distance triathlon in Cyprus, cycling in a team of 10 from John O Groats to Lands end covering over 800 miles in 11 days 02 June - 12 June. 5Km swim at lake 32 as part of The Big Swim. The Cotswolds marathon in July and finally Ironman Wales in September.
Please donate what you can to this great cause.
Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable!
I am fundraising for Brain Tumour Research as they are the only national charity dedicated to funding long-term, sustainable research in the UK. Please help me fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.
