Story

Hello,

Thanks for coming to my page and reading about my exciting journey of training for, and actually running, the 2026 London Marathon!

I'm so proud to have been selected by Breaking Barriers to run and raise money for this fantastic charity. Breaking Barriers is a great organisation that works with refugees to help them find meaningful work in the UK and build a life in their new home. I have seen first-hand how much it means to a refugee to come to the UK and know there is a helping hand to navigate the numerous obstacles in their path. As I work for Wimbledon School of English, I have had the privilege of meeting many refugees who just need a helping hand, and Breaking Barriers is a great charity helping them restart their lives in a new country.

My goal of £2,000 will go a long way towards helping Breaking Barriers with their work and will make a huge difference in refugees' lives.

Every penny donated will be gratefully received and will mean a lot to me. The training for the marathon is always the hard part, and seeing each donation come in will spur me on to keep racking up those miles and to be in my best shape on the start line to ensure I can complete the 26.2 miles.

Thank you for reading, and I hope you can donate and be part of my story.
