Story
I’m running the Sydney Marathon, my seventh World Major, to raise money and awareness for dementia — a cause that means so much to me.
My mum is living with Alzheimer’s and dementia, and I also have a close work friend in a care home because of it. Seeing how it affects them, and everyone around them, has really driven me to do something positive to help.
Every 3 minutes dementia steals a happily ever after. Research is our only chance of changing the ending for people affected by dementia.
By running, I want to help fund this research, raise awareness, and bring us one step closer to finding a cure. Every donation, share, and bit of support means the world — thank you for helping make a difference. 💙
