We want to support a charity in memory of Jane, who sadly lost her life to Melanoma in November 2022.

To raise money and awareness for Melanoma UK, we’ll be completing the Dales Way Walk, a route from Ilkley to Windermere. (Approx 81 Miles)

The first part of the walk will be on Saturday 5th of August, from Ilkley to Grassington which is approximately 18 miles. We’ll be setting off at 8am and everyone is welcome to join the walk, no matter how far. Meet at the Old Bridge in Ilkley where free parking is available at the side of the river on Denton Road.

There will be many stopping points throughout the day for people to finish whenever they would like. A minibus will be available, for anyone who only wants to do part of the walk, going to Grassington where the walk will finish for the day. Eventually the bus will be returning back to Ilkley.

We will be meeting for sandwiches and refreshments after the stage 1 walk in Grassington.

We will look forward to meeting you all on the day whoever would like to attend.
