CCPS is a small volunteer-led charity that provides a unique summer experience for children with complex needs in West Sussex. Our Playscheme allows children with special educational needs and disabilities to have fun over the summer holidays while providing their families with respite from their caring responsibilities.

Each summer, 90 amazing teenage volunteers from local high schools come to Playscheme and provide friendship and 1:1 support to the children. Many of our volunteers dedicate three weeks of their own summer holidays to supporting our children.

Four of our teenage helpers, Zac, Noah, Lilly, and Liesje, are taking on the 3 Peaks Challenge to raise vital funds for Playscheme. Over 48 hours, they will climb the highest mountains in Scotland, England, and Wales (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon). This will be a physically and mentally demanding challenge.
