I’ve watched my dad slowly slip away over the last 7 years living with dementia. The person you knew disappears bit by bit. Right now, he still recognizes me, but he’s no longer able to hold a conversation with anyone 😔 I know plenty of you have, or are experiencing loved ones going through similar experiences and share the grief this devastating condition has.
