Climb Mt. Kilimanjaro · 16 February 2026

Cransley Hospice Trust is passionate about high quality hospice and end of life care being available to all. We are committed to raising funds that will support and develop the delivery of these services in North Northamptonshire.

Story

In February, I will be attempting to summit Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, the highest free standing mountain in the world, standing at 5,895m /19,341ft above sea level. (For reference Ben Nevis, the highest peak in the British Isles is 1,345 meters/ 4413 ft).

It is a personal challenge that I want to take on, but I have also come to the realisation (thanks Mum) that it is also a great opportunity to try and raise some money to support a fantastic local charity that has supported family and friends.

I appreciate that times are hard for everyone at the minute, so any donations will be gratefully received. This trip is self funded so all money raised will go to Cransley Hospice.

Special mention to the BED foundation (more details coming soon) who have supported me with the time off.
