Story
With a heavy heart, I want to share that I lost my sister Lisa in March this year to cancer. She was incredibly funny, fiercely strong, and had a kindness that lifted everyone around her.
In honor of Lisa’s memory, I’ve decided to take on the challenge of running the Oxford Half Marathon on Sunday 12th October.
I’m raising money for SeeSaw, a local Oxfordshire charity that has been truly incredible in supporting Lisa’s children as they navigate life after such a heartbreaking loss. SeeSaw offers grief support to children, young people, and families when they need it most. Whether the death of a loved one is sudden, expected, or due to illness or accident, SeeSaw ensures that no child faces it alone.
As a small charity, SeeSaw depends on the kindness of individuals, families, and local groups to keep doing their vital work. I’ve seen firsthand just how much they mean to families like ours, and I want to give back.
If you're able to donate, even just a small amount, it would mean the world to me. You’d be supporting a charity that works hard to bring light into the darkest of times as well as helping me honor Lisa.
Thank you for reading, and thank you for anything you’re able to give.
