Since opening in 2014, Airedale's brand new Emergency Department has cared for almost half a million people when they needed it most. Although still quite new, the department is in need of some TLC and we are aiming to raise £150,000 to improve some of the most important areas in the department. The Appeal is focusing on improving three main areas: the children’s waiting area, the paediatric resuscitation room, and our bereavement facilities.

Since taking up running two years ago I’ve done some long “runs” but this marathon will be the longest I’ve run without stopping (hopefully!) Any support you can give to help improve the experience of patients and relatives at Airedale Emergency Department and to make my suffering worthwhile while running will be very much appreciated 😁
