The Air Ambulance service receives no money from the government but is a vital part of our NHS service. Every year, they transport people to urgent care facilities from remote or difficult to reach places or if going by road would take too long (for example, as a result of a motorcycle accident or climbing accident where every single second is the difference betwen life or death).

Had it not been for the air ambulance service in 2019, I would not be here now. They saved my life after a tractor decided pull out without checking and I was left in a coma for 10 days.
