The Lourdes Children and Families Trust has over 10 years experience of supporting families to enjoy pilgrimage holidays to the Catholic Marian Shrine of Lourdes, South West France

We prioritise the support of families with special needs and enable them to travel as part of a pilgrimage community of families to ensure that we create memories and friendships that last a lifetime.

On 20th July, 16 cyclists will begin a 7 day ride from the north coast of France, cycling 830km to Lourdes.

All cyclists are self-funding, have donated their own time and money to the cause and most will also act as volunteers during the pilgrimage week on arrival.

I’m riding for this fantastic charity which enables children and families to travel to Lourdes to experience a family orientated pilgrimage. Those who know me better are aware I was a volunteer helper in my youth for more than 10 years, so the place and its magic has a special place in my heart.

Also, I’m not by any means a cyclist and this is going to hurt like hell. Haha. Thank you in advance for your support.
