Story

On Saturday, the 26th of July, I will participate in one of the toughest cycling events in the UK; The National 24 Hour Cycling Time Trial, all in support of Breakthrough T1D. This incredible organisation is at the forefront of Type 1 Diabetes research, a condition that impacts over 8.5 million people worldwide. With your generous donations, Breakthrough T1D will continue to advance vital research into potential cures for this challenging condition.

As I prepare for this gruelling event, I face the extra challenge of living with Type 1 Diabetes. The complexities of fuelling and training for such an endurance test are daunting for anyone, but managing a long-term condition like Type 1 Diabetes adds an extra layer of difficulty. Yet, it is this very challenge that fuels my determination to succeed and raise awareness for those affected by this condition.

I invite you to join me on this journey by supporting my fundraising efforts. Every contribution counts and brings us one step closer to a cure for type 1 diabetes.
