Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The boys of Osmond House have voted to support the Arthur Rank Hospice as their chosen charity this year. Although not something we like to talk about, death is one of those few certainties in life for everyone. We believe each person suffering in Cambridgeshire deserves respect and dignity in their most difficult of days. Arthur Rank Hospice Charity seeks to make every moment count in their care for their patients and their loved ones at very emotional times. Arthur Rank Hospice helps nearly 4000 people each year both in hospice care and in their homes.

Mount Everest is 8,848m tall. Each Osman will climb approx 1/10th of that on stairs over a 2 hour period as part of their OsFamily - this is equivalent each to the height of England's highest mountain - Scafell Pike.

200 ascents of the Monastic Barn staircase is a significant individual achievement, particularly in one continuous session. Collectively each OsFamily will have ascended and descended Everest.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH for sponsoring us.
