In June 2023 our whole world changed when my beautiful wife Nurdansel, mum to Leyla and Denis, died suddenly overnight from an Aortic Root Dissection. We've since learnt so much about the condition with the help of the Aortic Dissection Charitable Trust, and in particular that with the right diagnosis and treatment, there's a chance that she could still have been here. This small charity campaigns tirelessly for better education, better diagnosis, better treatment and better after-care, among so many other things, and we want to do all we can to support them so that others are given the treatment they need when they need it.

Leyla and I will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon this April in loving memory of Nurdansel, and to raise as much as we can for this cause that means so much.
