Story
Garden House Hospice Care provides specialist palliative care for patients, families and carers facing life limiting illnesses, to enable them to have the best possible quality of life by providing care and support in the setting of their choice, without discrimination.
My beautiful sister, Teresa Marshall, is living with cancer that is sadly incurable.
Teresa has expressed her wish that, when the time comes, she would like to receive her end-of-life care at Garden House Hospice. Knowing that she could be cared for there, surrounded by kindness, dignity and compassion, means so much to Teresa and to all of our family.
We are raising money for Garden House Hospice Care to help support the incredible care they provide to patients and their families during such incredibly difficult times.
I will be running the Standalone Farm 10K on the 4th October 2026. I am not a natural runner, and I'm carrying a few extra pound, so this is a huge challenge for me! But if my sister can put up such a massive fight against cancer to stay here with her children/family for as long as possible and keep enduring the chemo, brain radiation and operations that she has had, then I can push through and run 10K!
If you are able to make a donation, however small, we would be truly grateful. Every pound will help the hospice continue to provide comfort, dignity and support to people facing the end of their lives.
Please consider sharing Teresa's fundraising page too, as spreading the word can make just as much of a difference.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting Teresa and our family
With love,
Teresa's family
