I have been fortunate enough to obtain a charity place for London Marathon for a charity that is so close to my heart and our family!

May 2025 we returned from an amazing family holiday to Florida, on returning sal developed a droop on the right hand side of her face and tingling in the hand. Which we ended up going to the GP and then A&E. We really thought it was a stroke. We were relived when the Dr came and told us it wasnt, however our world came tumbling down when we were told Sal had a mass in her brain!

Fast forward a few weeks, they told us it could possibly be cancer and it was inoperable! Sal had a brain biopsy to hopefully rule this out!

Thankfully cancer was ruled out, however we still didn't know what it was!

They also found a mass in her breast which they thought might be Cancer but this was rulled out.

Fast forward to September, where we met with a MS consultant and were informed that they highly thought it was MS. So more tests and scans were needed where they would hopefully confirm it.

We then had a phone call from the MS nurses in January to confirm it was MS!

Sal is now waiting to start treatment, hopefully by the end of March 2026!
