'Together we are beating cancer'
Thank you for taking the time to support my fundraising journey.
I am embarking on a personal cycling challenge from Land’s End to John o’ Groats or more affectionately known as LEJOG on September 7, 2025, to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
This is a self supported ride which means we carry what we need and we fix what needs fixed on the way. No support vehicle or back up just mind body and soul and hopefully good legs. The journey is iconic and approx 1400kms or around 900miles which I will be covering over 5 days so approx 15hrs riding per day while resting at night in scout huts or village halls along the way or perhaps a bit of comfort at a Premier Inn if I’m lucky and the credit card still has funds on it to pay lol
This disease in its many forms is brutal and life changing. In the past few years I have had family, friends and loved ones fighting this disease with some no longer with us and some continuing to fight each day. There are so many families with their own personal stories to tell all around the country but 'Together we are beating cancer'
This incredible organisations is dedicated to ensuring that no one faces cancer alone. They provide vital services and support to those affected by cancer, helping them navigate the emotional and practical challenges that come with a diagnosis. However, Macmillan can only continue this essential work with your help. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a significant difference in the lives of individuals and families facing cancer.
'Together we are beating cancer'
Together, we can ensure that Macmillan has the resources they need to reach everyone who needs their support.
I have set a target of £1,400 for this campaign, and I invite you to join me in making an impact. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast, and secure; your details are safe with them. Once you donate, your contribution will go directly to Macmillan Cancer Support, allowing them to continue their life-changing work without delay.
Let’s come together to make a difference in the fight against cancer.
